If you’re totally obsessed with Disney princesses, you’re not alone. There’s something quite magical about keeping up with the Disney princesses and all of their delightful storylines.
Disney princesses remind us that fairytale romances and happy endings totally exist. There’s a reason people adore Disney princesses from childhood well into adulthood! These are the most common Disney princess hair colors, ranked.
Two redheads

There are only two redheads in the Disney princess lineup. We’re referring to Ariel and Merida.
Ariel lived life as a mermaid until she fell in love with Prince Eric after seeing him on his ship. She made a deal with Ursula to grow two legs so she could interact with Eric and make him fall in love with her.
Merida is a princess who never cared much about love. Her movie is all about the mother-daughter relationship she was struggling with at home. Ultimately, she grows closer to her mother than ever before by the end of the flick.
Two brunettes

The brunettes and redheads have it tied when it comes to Disney princesses, for now. The two brunettes in the lineup are Belle and Anna. Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, is a princess who falls in love with a beast-like creature after getting trapped in his castle.
Her ability to truly fall in love with him allows him to turn back into human form. Anna is the younger sister of the Frozen franchise.
Four blondes

There are four blondes in the Disney lineup: Cinderella, Aurora, Rapunzel, and Elsa.
Starting off strong with Cinderella, she’s one of the first faces you think of when listing off the Disney princesses. Her rags-to-riches story is inspiring.
Aurora, also known as Sleeping Beauty, spends a portion of her movie asleep and waiting on true love’s kiss.
Rapunzel is a rebellious little thing whose long, blonde hair is full of magic. Elsa is arguably one of the most beloved Disney princesses to date, even though she’s a newer addition to the lineup. With her power over ice and snow, she’s super formidable.
Seven black-haired

Black hair takes the crown when it comes to the number of Disney princesses rocking this particular hair color. We’ve got Tiana, Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White, Jasmine, and Raya.
Tiana is from The Princess and the Frog, Moana is the island princess who refuses to be called a princess, and Mulan is the fierce fighter who sacrifices herself to save her father.
Pocahontas is the princess who educates John Smith about their racial differences, Snow White spends time living with seven dwarves, and Jasmine flies on a magic carpet with Aladdin.
Last but not least, Raya is considered one of the newest Disney princesses following the release of her 2021 movie, Raya and the Last Dragon.
