One diehard fan shared a video after cropping together tons of clips of Selena singing without any autotune edits.

It was posted almost a decade ago and has pulled in more than 5.1 million views.

The user added a caption that said, “I made this video to showcase Selena’s real vocals, as many claim that Selena can’t sing. I have put Selena in some of my other videos, and I’ve never seen an artist receive so much criticism. Obviously, Selena isn’t the strongest singer in the world, but she can sing.”

Someone on YouTube responded with, “I don’t why, but I love her voice. It’s like slow and unique.”

Another fan added, “I really love her voice. It’s so soft. Hitting high notes isn’t everything!”

Another Selena supporter chimed in with, “Selena has a beautiful unique voice. Very seductive, soft, and relaxing. She has a wide range of tones. Just hypnotizing. Not everyone likes high-note singers or those who scream loudly. Nope, I prefer to chill to relaxing music.”

A separate fan joined the conversation to say, “This is proof that she doesn’t lip-sync. Her voice is amazing! I love her and her amazing sweet voice!”

Of course, some of the comments on the video are super negative with people judging her and criticizing her, but that’s to be expected.

Someone as famous as Selena has millions of supporters, but she also has a few haters scattered into the bunch.

Generally speaking, Selena is one of the most highly revered and beloved celebrities of this modern era, and her music career is part of the reason why.

She is a talented actress with shows and movies like Wizards of Waverly Place, Spring Breakers, and Only Murders in the Building on her résumé.

But her music is something people can connect with based on the different emotions they’re feeling.
