Congratulations. You’ve stumbled across the one true best article on the internet covering The Simpsons.

In a stunning twist of fate, we’ll be diving into Homer and Marge Simpson, two characters with literally no flaws whatsoever.

Okay, so maybe they’ve messed up once or twice during the multi-decade-long run of the show.

Alright, there’s actually an argument that both have done more than one horrendous thing during in their time in the spotlight.

Thankfully, I’ve selflessly taken the time to watch every waking moment these two have been on screen.

Through a sophisticated mathematical formula, I’ve deduced that these are Homer and Marge’s worst singular moments ever. You’re welcome.

Homer versus Marge… Let’s get into it

Odds are, most of you watching this have seen The Simpsons Movie.

Instead of making a mistake that only lasts roughly 22 minutes, which is the average length of most TV shows in the United States, Homer Simpson made a mistake that lasted the duration of an entire movie.

Rather than dumping waste where he was supposed to, Homer decided to go to the Springfield town lake and dump his waste there.

Following a diabolical sequence of events, a dome gets placed over the town to keep it safe.

Homer takes it upon himself to save the town from being stuck inside the dome forever.

To Homer’s credit, he wanted to fix the idiotic problem he caused. He also relied on his son, Bart, to complete the job.

Now, if you asked most people in Springfield, they’d prob tell you they have absolutely no faith in this duo to to solve the problem.

In fact, most would be quick to admit Homer and Bart would make the situation worse.

But Homer and Bart came through when they tossed a bomb at the top of the hole, destroying the dome.

The two reveled in their success until it came time for both to figure out a new way to cause problems.

Unlike Homer, Marge’s biggest blunder didn’t last the length of a feature film.

It’s actually something parents are facing in the real world today. Ya know, outside of this video?

Anyways, fewer kids are going to college after seeing older generations express their regret.

Going to college has left tons of millennials in crippling debt, and without access to solid career jobs in a relentlessly shotty job market.

High school kids are rightfully struggling to see the purpose.

The Simpsons decided to play along and see just how far they could take it.

Lisa was always the golden child, straight A’s, kind, sweet, and not addicted to her phone.

Lisa just didn’t quite see the pros of going to college.

Marge, being a boomer, felt like Lisa was throwing away everything she worked for.

But then, Lisa became president of the United States. No college degree was necessary.

Marge still was fuming at Lisa for not going to school.

It’s almost as if college isn’t necessary for every awesome job out there, and hands on training might actually be better?!

Regardless, Marge couldn’t admit she was wrong. Times have certainly changed.

College isn’t a total necessity the way it once was.

Marge finally found a way to accept Lisa’s choice by the end, ensuring the pair had a heartfelt reunion.

Even at the end, Marge still tried to get Lisa to say she was wrong for not going.

Don’t take The Simpsons for granted.

They accurately predict the future. Homer and Marge messed around and found out multiple times.

Both these characters ring true to how real adults these days act.

But when you cause a problem, be a Homer. Try to fix it. Don’t be a Marge and sulk in it.
