A new study reveals that Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are the most influential celebrity couple on Instagram
The research, conducted by crypto exchange ChicksX, analyzed verified Instagram accounts of confirmed celebrity couples as of September 2025, ranking them based on their combined total follower counts, sourced from Social Blade.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez rank first as the most influential celebrity couple on Instagram, with their combined follower count totaling 734,890,736.
The football legend, who played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, contributes the vast majority to the couple’s count with 664.1 million followers, which also makes him the most-followed person on the platform, while Rodriguez adds 70.8 million.
The couple announced their engagement on August 11, after which Rodriguez gained a staggering 1.1 million followers in just three days.
Selena Gomez and producer Benny Blanco claimed second place with a combined 420,738,276 followers. This pair shows one of the largest follower disparities, with Gomez’s 417.6 million far outnumbering Blanco’s 3.2 million followers. Gomez is also the third most-followed person on the platform.
Kylie Jenner and actor Timothée Chalamet secured the third position with 412,400,931 followers. Jenner’s 392.7 million followers make up the bulk of their total, with Chalamet contributing 19.7 million.
The list continues with Hailey and Justin Bieber in fourth place, commanding 349,562,439 followers combined. Justin brings 294 million followers to the relationship, while Hailey has 55.6 million.
Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce secured fifth place with 290,146,631 followers. Swift’s massive following of 282.2 million accounts for 97% of their total, with Kelce adding 8 million.
Actors Zendaya and Tom Holland landed in sixth place with a combined 241,068,567 followers. Zendaya’s 177.5 million followers represent nearly 74% of their total, with Holland contributing 63.6 million.
Reality star Kourtney Kardashian and musician Travis Barker claimed seventh place with 225,738,844 followers. Kardashian’s 217.3 million followers make up 96% of their combined count, with Barker adding 8.4 million.
Singer Rihanna and rapper ASAP Rocky secured eighth place with 169,469,838 followers. Rihanna’s 149.5 million followers represent 88% of their total, with Rocky contributing 20 million.
Actress Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas rank ninth with 127,793,119 combined followers. Chopra’s 92.6 million followers exceed Jonas’s 35.2 million by a considerable margin.
Rounding out the top ten are Victoria and David Beckham with 121,225,877 total followers.
The study reveals that in 9 out of 10 couples, one partner has significantly more followers than the other. The gap between the first-place couple and the second-place pair exceeds 314 million followers.

“These numbers show the extraordinary reach that celebrity couples have on social media today. With combined audiences larger than the populations of many countries, these couples have a huge influence over consumer behavior and cultural trends.
“What’s especially interesting is the imbalance we see in most of these relationships, where one partner often brings the vast majority of followers to the table. This creates interesting dynamics both for the couples and for brands looking to partner with them.”
