New research has revealed the top 10 U.S. content creators who are truly connecting with their audiences. 

The study, conducted by digital marketing agency Local Digital, analyzed the average likes, average comments, and follower count of the most followed U.S. Instagram accounts on Social Blade, to identify which have the highest engagement rates. 

According to the findings, MrBeast is the most engaging content creator, with the highest engagement rate of 9.94. 

The American YouTuber, known for his high-production content which typically shows expensive challenges with cash prizes, has 64.6 million followers on Instagram. 

He racks up an average of 5,538,456 likes and 878,209 comments on his posts. 

The study also calculated the maximum price-per-post for the content creators, with MrBeast estimated to earn up to $816,310 per sponsored post. 

Travis Scott has the second-highest engagement rate at 4.21. The American rapper has 58.8 million followers on Instagram, with an average of 2,470,256 likes and 4,991 comments per post. 

Known for his chart-topping hits such as SICKO MODE and Highest in the Room, Scott is estimated to earn up to $704,137 per sponsored post. 

Billie Eilish ranks third, with an engagement rate of 3.49. 

The American singer-songwriter has 121.8 million Instagram followers, averaging 4,216,123 likes and 41,506 comments per post. 

Initially attracting attention with her single Ocean Eyes, Eilish is now worth millions, estimated to earn up to $1,449,920 per sponsored post. 

In fourth is Zendaya, with an engagement rate of 2.54. 

The American actress and singer has 180.8 million followers on Instagram, with an average of 4,579,377 likes and 15,010 comments per post. 

Globally recognized for her talents and fashion sense, Zendaya is estimated to earn up to $2,132,491 per sponsored post. 

Taylor Swift rounds out the top five, with an engagement rate of 2.26. 

The world-famed pop star has 283 million Instagram followers, with 6,401,724 average likes per post. Swift has her comments disabled on the platform; however, if she didn’t, she would no doubt receive an influx of messages on her posts. 

The record-breaking singer is estimated to earn up to $3,328,265 per sponsored post.

“Likewise, tapping into these audiences may explain how MrBeast and Travis Scott are so successful with their engagement on Instagram.”
