If you’re looking for something fun to do the last weekend before Christmas in Las Vegas, then consider going to the Christmas Parade in Downtown Summerlin.

Las Vegas always has so much to offer, and that fact continues to be true throughout the Christmas season.

The Downtown Summerlin Christmas parade is totally free to check out for yourself.

You can catch it Friday December 19th or Saturday the 20th at 6pm.

My husband and I attended to the parade last week for date night and these are my thoughts.

Details about the Christmas Parade in Downtown Summerlin

The Christmas Parade was presh, but one complaint I will admit? It was a bit frustrating that the parade didn’t start until 6:20pm, even though the ads all say that it starts at 6pm.

The 20-minute late start was definitely upsetting since it was so cold and crowded.

However, since all the advertisements for this parade claim that it starts at 6, I would still advise people to get there at 6 in case it starts on time this upcoming weekend.

Aside from the late start, I did thoroughly enjoy the parade. I haven’t seen that many super talented kids dancing all at once… probably in my entire life.

Each float had a small handful of children who REALLY knew how to dance!

They were talented, and it had my husband and I questioning if they came from a nearby art school or dance studio.

Each float had a different theme, including the Grinch, the Nutcracker ballerina, and eventually, it ended with Santa Claus.

The Santa Claus float had sparklers on the back resembling fireworks for a nice conclusion.

It was cute. It was fun.

We did have to park a little farther away since it was so crowded, so keep that in mind if you plan to attend for the final weekend!
