One of my reasons for truly thinking that Kylie and Timothee makes sense as a couple, even if they have a lot of haters praying on their downfall, is that they have such a high level of respect for each other.

We saw evidence of that in Timothee‘s acceptance speech at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.

Bar for Bar, he said, “I would like to say thank you to my partner three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.”

It was a rare occurrence for Timothee to say anything publicly about Kylie because over the last three years, he has largely stayed tightlipped about the relationship whenever he gets asked about her in interview.

But the difference here is that this wasn’t an interview. There wasn’t anyone hounding him with questions about his private relationship.

There wasn’t anyone harassing him or beating him for personal details about Kylie.

This was HIS moment and he used part of his celebratory moment to shine a light on his relationship since he has respect for Kylie.

It was important to him to mention the length of time they’ve been together, which is three years, and I feel he added that detail as a reminder to everyone that this relationship is serious.

They are in a long-term, committed, monogamous, and serious relationship.
