Now that Season 3 of Emily in Paris has come to an end, it’s time to debate which romantic connection is actually worth Emily’s time. By the time Season 4 rolls around, it’s possible that Emily will be dating someone entirely new… but for now, the two guys to consider are Gabriel and Alfie. Is Gabriel or Alfie better for Emily on ‘Emily in Paris’?
Gabriel was one of the first guys to catch Emily’s eye when she first arrived in Paris. They had instant chemistry with sensual fireworks bursting between them based on their mutual attraction for each other. The problem is that he was already romantically involved with Camille when Emily entered the picture.
Emily started dating Alfie later on and realized that he was a great person to spend time with. They didn’t start off on the same page, but eventually, they realized that their feelings for each other could develop into something beautiful. There are pros and cons for both of these unions.

The cons of Emily’s relationship with Alfie are that she will never have to deal with his long-lasting trust issues after what happened at the altar between Camille and Gabriel. Camille called Emily out for being in love with Gabriel, in front of Alfie! Another con is that Alfie was super hesitant to introduce Emily to his family, and now those hesitations are probably going to become a lot worse.
The cons of Emily’s relationship with Gabriel are that their relationship has a horribly shady foundation. She hooked up with Gabriel while he was still deeply connected to Camille –– and then proceeded to keep their little affair a secret after striking up a friendship with Camille. Talk about messy! Another con is that Gabriel is now expecting his firstborn child with Camille, even though that relationship is over. Is Emily ready to be a stepmom?
The pros of Emily’s relationship with Alfie are that Alfie showed Emily an unlimited amount of respect, patience, and love after he revealed that he had feelings for her. He decided not to return to London by accepting a job offer in Paris so he could continue working on his relationship with Emily. Another plus is that he totally understands her struggle of learning the French language since both of their first languages are English.
The pros of Emily’s relationship with Gabriel are that they have an undeniable connection that just about everyone around them notices. There is no way for them to hide their passion or desire for each other, despite how hard they might try. Even after closing the door on love, they decided to remain friends to stay in each other’s lives. They’ve shown up for each other offering favors and emotional support countless times.
Ultimately, Emily will have to make a sound decision about who the best match for her really is.
