Pop star Dua Lipa‘s relationship with Anwar Hadid lasted for two years from 2019 until 2021. They were spotted kissing at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music fest in London, and fans were immediately excited about their newfound romance.
In August of their first year together, Anwar was by Dua’s Side to celebrate her 24th birthday. Being with her on her birthday pretty much solidified the fact that they were a couple! They decided to call it quits right before the holidays of 2021 because they were spending a lot of time apart traveling. What has Dua been up to since becoming single?

According to Vogue, Dua is super comfortable taking herself out on dates since becoming single. She chronicled a solo dinner night out in New York City – and appeared to totally enjoy personal time to herself.
Music is obviously a huge factor in Dua’s life. According to Billboard, she’s currently halfway through writing her third album. She explained, “It’s like I’m coming into my power and not afraid to talk about things. It’s about understanding what I want.” It’s super exciting to know that Dua’s new album will encompass the level of power she’s been feeling within herself.

Dua is cultivating friendships with other famous people including Megan Thee Stallion. The cherry on top is that Megan has nothing but sweet things to say about Dua!
According to Pop Crave, Megan said, “When somebody is so gorgeous and established, you don’t know what to expect. A lot of ladies can be divas. But Dua is just so nice. She felt like a familiar spirit. We have an unspoken bond, it’s not even anything we need to discuss.”
Posing for the cover of Vogue is an honor that not every celebrity is able to achieve in their lifetime. Dua revealed on Instagram that she’s the cover girl for Vogue’s June/July 2022 issue. It’s pretty clear that she’s doing just fine post-breakup.
What about Dua Lipa’s love life?
The Levitating singer was recently spotted leaving the Saint Laurent show in Paris with a music video director by the name of Romain Gavras. Not only were they seen together, but they were holding hands! They haven’t made an announcement or gone Instagram official just yet.
