Back in early 2020, a source told Us Weekly that Zendaya and Jacob Elordi, co-stars of the series Euphoria, were dating.

The breakdown of their relationship was evident when Jacob began dating Kaia Gerber later that same year. He’s no longer with Kaia, but his time with the model let the world know he was no longer hanging out with Zendaya.

Zendaya, on the other hand, unintentionally revealed her relationship with Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland when they were caught kissing months later in July 2021. 

Even though Jacob and Zendaya have both moved on, interest in whatever happened between them from fans of Euphoria still exists.

The main issue here is that despite stoking dating rumors from 2018 to 2020, the Shake It Up starlet and Kissing Booth actor never openly admitted to ACTUALLY being together.

Did Zendaya ever speak out about her breakup?

Even though Zendaya and Jacob were frequently seen together, including on vacation to Greece and running errands around town, they always put on a united front of denial when their relationship was brought up.

He even called Zendaya his “sister” in a 2019 interview with GQ Australia. 

The alleged ex-couple also remained tight-lipped regarding their breakup. Despite Zendaya’s romance with Tom and Jacob’s decision to move on with other partners, they still seem amicable. 

When Zendaya became the youngest to win the Emmy for Best Leading Actress in a Drama Series, Jacob posted a thoughtful Story dedicated to her on Instagram.

He shared a picture of Zendaya dressed as her character from the series Euphoria and the message, “Congratulations, captain… Bravo” to mark the occasion.

They’re both still set to star in the upcoming third season of Euphoria, although their characters barely shared any screen time in the first two seasons. It’s possible that will change in Season 3.
