HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Think lots of jumping, moving, cardio, and strength training.

There’s plenty of HIIT workouts that you can find on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok. It’ll have you sweating like crazy, but it’s a great workout!

Yoga

Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for yoga classes that you have to trek across town to, set your mind at ease with an at-home yoga session.

You can either subscribe to someone that you know and like, or you can find a random Yoga video on YouTube to do in your spare time.

Pilates

Pilates can be done at home, even if you don’t have any equipment. Pilates focuses on the core while working on posture, balance, and flexibility. If yoga is too slow for you, try pilates to pack a bit of an extra punch!

Dancing

There’s nothing that gets the endorphins pumping quite like a great dance sesh. Even if you’re not in a club, you can still get your body moving! Put on your favorite playlist and dance in the kitchen like a kid again. It’s fun, silly, and still a great workout.

Calisthenics

Want to be able to do a handstand? Backbend? The splits? Calisthenics is where you want to be. With plenty of YouTube videos, TikTok accounts, and Pinterest boards dedicated to where to start, you’ll surely be on your way to having your next party trick down.

So next time you’re dreading going to the gym, skip it and work out from home instead!
