If you’re starting to feel burnt out on dating apps, you’re not alone. A little bit of burnout is completely normal since it can get tiresome trying to sift through different potential partners all the time.
The reality is that tons of people have successfully been able to find love using dating apps! That gem of knowledge should be enough to spark some hope in you about your future.
TikToker @Marshanadahlia posted a video breaking down the way she strategically used the Bumble dating app in order to meet her husband. These are some of the steps she followed to achieve her own marriage success.
Use Bumble strategically
Marshana starts her video by explaining that she invested in Bumble premium. The investment gave her the chance to see which men already liked her on the app so she wouldn’t have to waste time swiping on different users in the pile.
She says this is something to pay for as soon as you sign up for Bumble. You can buy one week for $19.99, one month for $39.99, or three months for $76.99.
Her next step was to start messaging guys based on things they mentioned in their profiles. That way, each message came across as individualized and genuine.
From there, she was able to narrow down which men she would be comfortable chatting with off the app. In other words, only a small handful of men made it to the “next round” of receiving her number to start exchanging text messages.
After that, she put in requests with the men she liked the most to give her a call. Some of them weren’t interested in talking out loud on a phone call, but the ones who were willing to call her were able to keep her attention.
She expressed her honesty and candor to the men she was speaking to so no one would feel blindsided by her process. If the texting and phone calls went well, she knew she was ready to meet up in person for a date.
She agreed to dates over coffee or drinks since low-investment dates take the weight off everyone’s shoulders — men don’t feel pressured to invest tons of money, and women don’t feel pressured to invest tons of time.
Marshana set up multiple dates in a row in one day to introduce herself to as many amazing potential matches as she could. Her current husband was date #2 on a day when she had three dates scheduled!
She ended her video by saying, “You really have to commit to this process and do it like it’s your job. If you’re willing to put in the work, I’m telling you, dating on apps can be such a blessing.”
