It’s no secret that the Y2K fashion and beauty aesthetic is making a comeback, due in part to celebs like Bella Hadid and Gen Z’s TikTok fixation.

However, alongside the sentimental trend of extremely low-rise everything, butterfly clips, and thin brows, a more sinister concept has emerged. Certain body types and specific body parts can go in and out of fashion.

BBLs simply aren’t as popular as they once were

Shockingly, major stars like Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian have been seen with reduced backsides in recent months.

After fans noticed how toned down their bodies were, thousands of videos analyzing the situation spread like wildfire on social media.

Since the Kardashian-Jenner family has such an influence on pop culture and society, it seems their choice to “reverse their BBLs” has many regular women who underwent the procedure following in their footsteps.

***Keep in mind that none of the members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have ever openly admitted to getting BBLs.

“In the last two years, we’ve noticed a pattern of individuals desiring less volume as part of a BBL,” according to Steven Williams, M.D. Vice president of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a board-certified plastic.

He says, “The focus has shifted towards a more natural look.” 

Patients have been pursuing reshaping to attain less prominent, rounded-off hips or “hip dips,”. Buttock enhancement is not going away anytime soon! You should maintain a healthy weight and avoid dramatic alterations to keep your buttocks full and perky and your body proportionate.

To begin this surgery is a major operation, and it is a major surgery to rectify it. Bodily features and kinds should not be regarded as cosmetics in the same way that skinny jeans or brows are but we still have a long way to go to stop the pattern.

There should not be such a strange focus on body trends.  It’s not exactly comparable to fashion, where crimson is trendy and you should ditch your blue sweater.

You can’t simply replace your physique every three years. It is somewhat of a permanent process that should never be taken lightly.
