The first episode of The Kardashians Season 3 begins with Kim Kardashian discussing at her life as a single woman.
The last relationship she had was with Pete Davidson, and although he isn’t mentioned by name during Season 3, we all know exactly who she’s talking about.
The reason it’s easy to decipher that Pete’s the one she’s referring to is that she mentions the length of their relationship. They dated for about nine months before calling it quits.
Here’s what Kim Kardashian has to say about being a single woman
When The Kardashians camera crew started asking Kim about her relationship status, she responded by saying, “I’m single and I’m NOT ready to mingle.”
While she was sitting down with Scott Disick and Khloé Kardashian, she discussed the topic a little more in-depth.
“Breakups are just not my thing,” Kim expressed.
“Are they anybody’s thing?” Scott asked her.
She responded by saying, “I’m proud of myself. I mean, we just had talks and talks. We both had been talking about it. So it was just both of us just communicating really well about it. It’s obviously sad…”
In other words, Kim and Pete had some serious discussions about the future of their relationship before ultimately throwing in the towel.
Kim went on to explain that she doesn’t enjoy having random hookups. She also acknowledged that Pete had to go through a lot of public scrutiny during the course of their relationship – as well as bullying from her ex-husband, Kanye West.
