There’s nothing peculiar about wanting to ensure your wedding day is as special as humanly possible. After all, your wedding is supposed to be a celebration of the love you share with your partner.
Somehow, someway you and your partner were able to find each other in a very messy and complicated world full of people.
Your love deserves to be celebrated for that very reason. A TikToker and wedding venue stylist who goes by the name of @All_Floral posted a video listing a few different wedding ceremony tips that you might want to keep in mind once your big day rolls around.
Walk slowly
The first tip is to walk slower than you think you should as you’re making your way down the aisle. your nervousness might accidentally cause you to speed up, but remember that it’s crucial to keep your steps at a comfortably slow pace. Everyone should have the chance to admire your beautiful wedding dress, after all.
Don’t hold your bouquet too high
The second tip is to carry your bouquet around your waist facing outward. If you hold it too hard, the top of your dress will be completely hidden from view. If you have photographers filming your wedding, you’re going to want them to be able to see the top of your dress. You also want the flowers of your bouquet to be visible.
Have the officiant move away during your kiss
When you’re sharing your first kiss with your new spouse, the officiant who talked through your wedding should step out of the way. This way, they won’t awkwardly end up in all the final pictures of your first kiss.
Don’t pull away from the kiss too quickly
Your next piece of advice is that you shouldn’t let go of your kiss too quickly. Although you might feel shy or uncomfortable with your entire family watching you kiss you and your spouse, you have to give your photographers a chance to actually capture the moment in its entirety.
Plan out the recessional moment
Make it a point to plan out your recessional moment during your rehearsal dinner. Figure out who’s walking back down the aisle after the ceremony comes to an end – and in what order.
Are you and your new spouse leaving first? Or is it your bridesmaids and groomsmen? This is something that must be figured out ahead of time.
Snag another photo opportunity
When you’re halfway down the aisle after the ceremony, pause in the middle and lean in for an additional kiss with your new spouse.
This creates an ideal photo opportunity for your photographer. Even if they’ve already captured an endless amount of winning pictures, it’s always wonderful to have more options on deck to share with you when all is said and done.
