TikToker @ZoeyXSinn shared a video highlighting some simple dating tips that everyone should take note of.
It’s possible that your worries in the world of love can easily be minimized with a few minor changes.
Inconsistent versus consistent communication
Zoey says, “That person that has inconsistent communication with you just doesn’t like you that much.”
Someone who genuinely likes you will remain in contact with you on a regular basis. Someone who’s meh about you may disappear every few days without an explanation.
Pay attention to your person’s communication skills before investing too many emotions.
Getting ghosted
Zoey says, “That person that ghosted you isn’t a bad person. They just became uninterested or found someone else. Move on. Find someone else to text you.”
Too many people obsess over the person who ghosted them instead of figuring out how to let go and move on.
Ghosters generally suck at confrontation and simply want you two to go your separate ways without having to face anything awkward.
Don’t think of a ghoster as evil with vile intentions. They’re simply emotionally immature. Shrug it off. They’ve got some self-growth to do, and now they’re no longer your problem.
Cheating partners
Zoey says, “If your partner cheated on you, leave them. And if you don’t leave them… shut up about it, stop hanging it over their head, and learn how to work through it together.”
If your partner didn’t respect you enough to stay faithful, love yourself enough to walk away.
Staying with them means you have to fully forgive them without constantly rehashing the issue. If you’re strong enough to do that, more power to you.
The 50/50 convo
Zoey says, “If a man doesn’t want to pay all your bills and wants to go 50/50, that doesn’t make him a bum. It doesn’t make him a bad guy. It doesn’t make him a little boy.
“He’s still a man, just a man with different interests and goals in life. Go find someone who will. There are a billion people in the world. I promise you can find one.
“That woman that wants all her bills paid doesn’t make her a golddigger. It doesn’t make her a sl*t. Just go find you one that could do 50/50 with you. It’s very simple.”
People have different expectations when it comes to finances in romantic relationships. However you expect finances to be handled in your own love life is totally fine.
All you have to do is seek out a partner who matches those vibes and values. Don’t waste time trying to convince someone to see it your way.
Attracting your match
Zoey says, “You cannot attract the type of person you want if you are also not the person that they want.
“Get off the couch if you want to gym rat. Open up a f**king book if you want someone who reads books. It’s very simple.”
Get on the level of the person you hope to attract someday in order to actually make it happen.
Be someone you yourself would be excited about dating before putting yourself out there in the dating arena.
Modern dating as a whole
Zoe goes on to explain that we attract people based on the standards we set for ourselves.
