Former Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, and Jonas Brothers singer, Joe Jonas, are calling it quits after only four years of marriage.

Happy times 

The duo wed in 2019 in Las Vegas with an Elvis Presley impersonator officiating. Naturally, they also had a lavish wedding at the Château de Tourreau in the south of France. 

The couple then went on to have two daughters. Willa was born in 2020 and D. was born in 2022.

Broken marriage 

Due to their marriage being “irretrievably broken,” Joe recently filed for a divorce. 

The divorce was announced on September 3rd. It was reported that the couple had been struggling off and on for the last six months. 

An insider speaks out

According to Cosmopolitan, Joe filed for divorce because he felt like it was the best course of action for his daughters. 

Although the decision was supposedly a last resort, living in an unhappy home isn’t the best decision for a family. This information comes from a source that spoke with the magazine. 

The source also reported that the two have had “many disagreements” and Joe felt like the marriage was just too broken to be pieced back together. 

Custody battle

Reportedly, Joe wants to seek joint custody of his children. The insider says that Joe wants “frequent and continuing contact with both parties.”

Sophie is now suing Joe for the return of their girls to England. The legal side of things between this ex-couple is getting messy.
