I was stuck in a short-term plateau because I had to miss a week of injections due to my travel plans.

Alex helped me get out of the plateau by having me switch a few things up to make a concrete difference in my game plan.

First, she told me to start pairing my dance class workouts with weight lifting. Pole fitness, Zumba, and pilates have been my main forms of exercise, but adding a few days of weightlifting to the mix actually made a difference.

Next, she told me to get started with a low-carb diet. I’ve already been intermittent fasting for the most part, but ensuring that my only meals have equated to less than 50 grams of carbs per day is what pushed me out of the plateau.

I was finally able to drop down 72 pounds after being stuck at the 65-pound weight loss mark for a long f*cking time.

I am beyond grateful to Alex for all of her insight and life-changing advice. I’ve got 28 more pounds to shed before my upcoming wedding, and it’s definitely going to work out.
