Genuine coffee lovers deserve to travel to places where they know they can order delicious cups of their fave beverage.
Whether you prefer hot coffee or iced coffee, there are a handful of cities where you’ll be better off spending time as a person who craves this particular drink.
A new study from Clever Real Estate has provided coffee lovers with some solid answers about where they should visit next.
Top places to travel as a coffee lover
Clever Real Estate reports that Portland has been ranked as the city with the best coffee ever. Surprise, surprise!
It isn’t shocking that Portland lands at the top of this list since this is a city with a reputation for having a highly established coffee culture.
After Portland, the cities of San Jose, San Diego, Denver, and San Francisco make up the rest of the top five list.
The remainder of the top 10 list consists of Providence, Hartford, Boston, Las Vegas, and Seattle.
As far as Las Vegas goes, the Strip is filled with brilliant coffee shop options like Café Lola at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Hello Kitty Cafe at The Park MGM Las Vegas, and Va Bene at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Despite the fact that the first-ever Starbucks coffee shop was built in Seattle, the city didn’t pull in a higher ranking.
Some of the cities coffee lovers should totally avoid include Dallas, San Antonio, Atlanta, and Memphis.
The worst coffee destination of all, though? That would be Houston. For every 100,000 residents in Houston, there are only about 4.9 coffee shops!
There clearly aren’t a lot of options to order a hot or iced cup of coffee if that’s where you’re choosing to spend your time.
Whether you’re obsessed with light roast, medium roast, dark roast, or something else, Clever Real Estate reveals that traveling to places where your taste for coffee will be satisfied is totally achievable.
