Few artists are as universally loved as Drake. The Canadian rapper has been in show business since his teenage years when he starred on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

While he’s still taken his talent to the screen, Drake has made a true name for himself as a rapper. It feels like no matter what, his albums always have great tracks on them.

Nothing Was the Same

In 2013, the Canadian rapper released Nothing Was the Same and immediately had fans listening.

The album features songs like “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “Started From the Bottom,” and “All Me” on the deluxe version. The album won the BET Award for Album of the Year in 2014.

Views

Summer 2016 was heavily influenced by Drake’s album Views. “Hotline Bling” and “Pop Style” made the album fly off the stands.

“Hotline Bling” is still played in 2024 around the world in clubs. “Controlla,” another song off the album, made fans fall in love even more with the Canadian rapper.

Scorpion

Has there ever been a more dangerous dancing trend than “In My Feelings?” Fans around the world got out of their car to dance along to the song from Drake’s album, Scorpion.

Aside from that, the singer had songs like “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What” that seemingly became anthems overnight.

Thank Me Later

Looking back at it, the debut album from Drake was a banger. Thank Me Later is where fans can find songs such as “Over,” “Miss Me,” “Find Your Love,” and “Best I Ever Had.”

While nobody knew it at the time, these songs would shape a generation and make them fall in love with the talented new rapper.

Take Care

Is there an album by anyone that has the same number of quality songs as Take Care? There are honestly eight songs on here that most Millennials have sang along to at some point.

“Headlines,” “Crew Love,” “Take Care,” “Marvins Room,” “We’ll Be Fine,” “Make Me Proud,” “HYFR (Hell Yeah F Right),” and “The Motto” are all classics that come from this one album. Looking back at it, Drake did something special here.
