Alcohol isn’t for everyone! Plenty of people around the globe are realizing that they’d rather live sober lifestyles than deal with hangovers, headaches, and cottonmouth.
Happy Go Leafy conducted a wellness study based on recent Google search data.
According to them, these 10 states have been searching for terms relating to sobriety and rehabilitation more than any other states across the US.
10 states thinking about sobriety

Although Florida is known for being a partying hotspot, it lands in the number one spot when it comes to individuals searching up how to get sober in 2024.
Arizona lands in second place, followed by Texas in third. North Carolina is the fourth-place state with Massachusetts in fifth.
Next up is Illinois in sixth place followed by Delaware in seventh place. New York is the eighth state on the list followed by Nevada in ninth.
Last on the list is Colorado.
Some of the popular search terms in these states include “sobriety for women,” “stop drinking,” “alcohol treatment centers,” “Alcoholics Anonymous,” “give up alcohol,” “12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous,” and “alcohol rehab.”
A spokesperson from Happy Go Leafy says, “The surge in searches for sobriety-related terms across the US reflects a growing societal shift towards mindful consumption and self-care.
“As people prioritize health and wellness, this trend signals a refreshing departure from the culture of excessive drinking, indicating a positive embrace of moderation and balance in our lifestyles.”
