A viral conversation happening across TikTok right now states that your level of self-love becomes obvious to others based on the partner you choose.

In other words, the partner you choose to date is a direct reflection of how much you love yourself!

Do you agree with the sentiment on Fulfillment Friday?

Be embarrassed if you have a shitty partner, because it’s an embarrassing thing !!! Girls deserve to be treated like princesses 👸🏽 #selflove #princesstreatment #relationships

Self-love and who you choose to date

For many women, settling for less has become the norm.

Unfortunately, from an outsider’s perspective, you look like you don’t have much self-love if you’re clearly settling in a relationship that isn’t right for you.

Dating manipulators, gaslighters, cheaters, abusers, or losers is a sign that you just don’t love yourself enough.

Women who truly love themselves wouldn’t subject themselves to sh***y treatment from anyone.

It’s high time for women to start getting embarrassed and disgusted by mistreatment from terrible partners.

When you start putting self-love into practice, it feels like you’re dousing yourself in a pot full of magic.

Practicing self-love gives you a chance to become fully obsessed with yourself.

From there, you have the chance to meet a partner who’s genuinely obsessed with you… in a healthy way!

What does it mean to practice self-love?

Self-love is being done with someone after they fuck up and hurt you. You shouldn’t have to give someone endless opportunities for forgiveness and second chances for them to stay in your life.

Self-love is dumping and blocking people who want to f*** around without committing to you.

You deserve to be with someone who’s sure about you. A non-committal partner is sucking your youth and wasting your time.

Self-love is running away from people who will have you settling for less.

Whether they’re encouraging you to settle for less by accepting the breadcrumbs they offer you or it’s something much deeper than that, do some self-reflection and take yourself out of any toxic equations.

Remember that the world can see how much you love yourself based on who you’re with.
