In 2003, Quentin Tarantino forever changed how action and martial arts movies worked with Kill Bill: Volume 1, starring Uma Thurman and David Carradine.

The next year, he released Kill Bill: Volume 2, which received similar praise. It’s been 20 years since the franchise began: Where is Volume 3?

Will there ever be a Volume 3?

“Where is Kill Bill: Volume 3?” This is a question people typically ask when they think about Tarantino’s martial arts franchise.

In the same month Volume 2 premiered, Tarantino told Entertainment Weekly that another sequel was in the works – but not for a long time.

“I was going to do a new one every ten years. But I need at least fifteen years before I do this again. I’ve already got the whole mythology: “

Since then, he’s been very on and off about whether this sequel still exists. Some actors and crew have repeatedly shown interest in making more movies.

Vivica A. Fox, who played the role of Vernita Green, opened up about her thoughts with Variety. She said, “People are hungry. Quentin [Tarantino], let’s go!”

However, as of July 2023, Tarantino confirmed that Kill Bill: Volume 3 is no longer in the works, putting an end to decades of speculation.

It’s interesting to note that if Tarantino kept to his original idea, we would have been expecting Kill Bill: Volume 3 very soon.
