Victoria Beckham reunites with the Spice Girls for iconic singalong at 50th birthday party

Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in London this past weekend turned into an unforgettable Spice Girls reunion.

Joined by her former bandmates Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisolm, the iconic quintet treated guests to a nostalgic singalong at the swanky affair.

Captured in a video posted to Victoria’s Instagram, the Spice Girls could be seen belting out their 1997 hit “Stop” with infectious energy and even remembered the choreography from their heyday.

“Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much!” she wrote in the caption.

David Beckham, Victoria’s husband, shared his excitement in the video, capturing the memorable moment for posterity.

This reunion marked the first time all five original Spice Girls members had been seen together in years.

First full reunion in years

While the group performed together at the London Olympics opening ceremony in 2012, Victoria opted out of their 2019 tour, focusing instead on her family and burgeoning fashion empire.

The Spice Girls, known for their chart-topping hits like “Wannabe” and “2 Become 1,” rose to fame in the 1990s and became pop culture icons.

Despite pursuing solo endeavors in the early 2000s, their legacy endures, and fans continue to clamor for reunions and new music from the beloved group.

Mel B shared Victoria’s post on her Instagram Stories, writing, “About last night #tourdatescommingsoon.”

It seems the group will have another reunion soon as revealed by Mel B. The singer revealed that she always gets kicked out of their group chats because she reveals things too soon.

“I get told off all the time for announcing stuff I’m not meant to announce,” she said on the Jennifer Hudson Show at the time.

“But what I can say is we’re definitely working on something together—all five of us. And by me just saying that, I’m probably going to get into trouble again.”

“It’s amazing that we’ve managed to kind of still stay friends, it’s been 30 years,” adding, “As a group you’re just welded together for life because you’ve been through such a crazy experience.”

Whatever happens, we will be waiting to see what the next moves for the iconic girl group!
