Do we really have new music from Lana Del Rey coming soon?

Based on an Instagram post she shared, it looks like she’s about to release a collaboration with none other than Quavo.

Quavo, a rapper who was formerly part of the Migos trio, is beloved in the hip-hop community.

Lana is beloved in the alternative music community.

With this possible collaboration, some fans are drawing parallels to the time when Lana released incredible collaborations with A$AP Rocky.

Lana Del Rey and Quavo’s Rocky’s collab

Lana released two songs with A$AP Rocky in 2017 as part of her Lust For Life album.

The titles were “Summer Bummer” and “Groupie Love.” Both songs were bangers!

A$AP also starred in her music video for “National Anthem” in 2012.

In fact, fans were hoping she would bring A$AP Rocky out on stage to perform with her at Coachella 2024.

People were manifesting he’d show up as one of her guests since she was headlining.

Lana didn’t bring out A$AP Rocky, though, and it was a slight disappointment to die-hard fans hoping she would play some of her upbeat music.

Now that she’s potentially collaborating with Quavo, there’s more to look forward to when it comes to her live perfomances!

Her comment section is full of people who are excited about what’s to come.

One person wrote, “we want a summer bummer 2.0.” Another added, “Lana hanging with rappers again, the world is healing.”

There’s no official release date on the song yet.

It’ll be great if they release a music video to match, but Lana doesn’t film music videos too often so we’ll have to wait and see about that too.
