The body parts that are placed inside Bodies the Exhibition have been safeguarded through polymer preservation.
All the tissue and water that was originally inside these body parts have been replaced with silicone rubber, dipped into acetone, and sealed in a vacuum chamber.
These steps are necessary to prevent the body parts from decaying.
After all, this exhibition wouldn’t be enjoyable at all if all the body parts were slowly starting to rot before everyone’s eyes!
