Right now, my entire social media feed is updates about the celebrity blackout.
I find this super interesting because I remember hearing of an astrologist’s predictions about the falling stars of 2024.
They weren’t talking about literal stars falling from the sky, but rather, they were talking about the fall of celebrity culture.
Details about the celebrity blackout

Social media users are banding together to block any and every celeb who isn’t using their platform to speak out in support of Gaza.
People online are also pretty f***ing pissed about the “let them eat cake” energy that was displayed at the 2024 Met Gala.
Camila Cabello’s ice purse being worth almost $25k while people around the globe don’t have access to fresh water is disturbing. There’s no other word to use to describe it.
There’s already a lot that’s unfolded in 2024 including Kim Kardashian getting booed at Tom Brady‘s roast, Drake getting accused of inappropriate relationships with underage girls, producers at Nickelodeon getting exposed for child abuse on set, Diddy getting his entire mansion raided, and so many others.
Some celebs who I thought were completely untouchable like Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez are even losing followers.
It’s honestly shocking, but I’m here for it!
Because until celebrities start doing something useful with their platforms, they are going to be negatively impacted.
A guy on TikTok was comparing celebrities to the victors of Hunger Games rather than President Snow and government officials of Hunger Games.
Regardless of what level of status these celebs have, they are more capable of creating change than all of us normal and unknown people who are populating this planet.
Hopefully, seeing their finances suffer will encourage celebs to start making some serious changes.
