Self-love is learning to leave people where they’re at.

If you know people who are comfortable settling in mediocrity and they’re uninterested in elevating to become the best version of themselves, those are not your people.

One Self-Love Saturday, let’s explore why this matters.

Leave people to settle in mediocrity if they want to

When you’re on a glow-up journey, anyone who’s incapable of personal development and self-growth will naturally weed themselves out of your life.

It’s smart to learn to leave people where they’re at.

If you’re continually elevating and they aren’t, they’re going to drag you backward, hold you back, and slow down the speed of your elevation journey.

Or they’ll become uncomfortable seeing all the positive ways you’re changing and start sabotaging you.

Even if they do it subconsciously out of the fear that they’re going to lose you, it is a problem.

If they really don’t want to lose you, they’ll go on their own journey of elevation so they can keep up with you before they get left behind.

And by the way… it’s not your job to convince people to become the best versions of themselves, either.

Everyone has to individually want that for themselves.

Some people are fine to settle in mediocrity, and it’s okay to leave them where they’re at.
