There are not many negative things fans can say about Selena Gomez’s relationship with Benny Blanco.
It seems he’s been a true gentleman to her since their relationship got started. Here’s a breakdown of all the romantic things he’s done for her in front of the public eye.
Benny Blanco has been romancing Selena Gomez
In October 2023 before Selena and Benny went public with their love, he showed up to support Selena at the first Rare Impact Fund Benefit for Selena’s makeup line Rare Beauty.
In December 2023, he gifted her a ring with the letter B on it, which she posted on social media for everyone to see.
In February 2024, Benny posted about going out of his way to make Selena happy on Valentine’s Day with fried pickles that he had shipped to California from Texas.
In March 2024, Benny talked about cooking for Selena on TalkShopLive saying, “She’s a huge steak fan, so anything with steak in it. She always asks for steak, and she always asks for these little perfect fried potatoes. She loves soup. So she was shooting a show yesterday, and I made a little soup, and I brought it over to her.”
The show she was shooting, by the way, was Only Murders in the Building.
That same month, Selena shared a pic of the card she received from Benny while they were temporarily long-distance. It said, “Happy first virtual date!”
In April 2024, Selena shared a message written on a napkin from Benny about the dinner he made her. It said, “I love you! Sleep well! I made you steak!”
In May 2024, Benny revealed what he did for Selena on Valentine’s Day. He told Howard Stern, “She loves movies, so I rented out a movie theater. And she loves a comfortable couch, so I took out the seats and we put like a huge couch in the front.”
He continued, “I was like, ‘What are all her favorite foods?’ I spoke with her grandma, I spoke with her mom, her best friend and this is what I came up with.”
He went on, “I brought in a nacho machine, and then we watched — you know, her favorite movie growing up was Almost Famous, so we watched Almost Famous, we ate the f—ing nachos and that’s what she loves.”
That same month, he gushed over Selena on The Drew Barrymore Show saying, “She just like the best, most genuine person. Everything is so completely real. I’ll walk by the mirror as I’m walking to her and I’ll look at myself and I’m like, ‘How did I get here?’”
And lastly, touching back on the Howard Stern interview, Howard said he predicts marriage in the future between Selena and Benny.
To that, Benny replied, “You and me both.”
Those few little words affirming what’s to come in the future could possibly be the greatest thing Benny’s done for Selena since we know she’s excited and hopeful about becoming a wife and mother someday.
