In 2022, Sydney opened up to Variety saying, “I always thought I’d have a kid by now. I always wanted to be a young mom. I love acting, I love the business, I love producing, I love all of it. But what’s the point if I’m not getting to share it with a family?”
She went on to say, “The time will come, and I’ll have four kids,” Sweeney said. “And they will come with me everywhere and be my best friends.”
When speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she also added, “I want to have a family. I’ve always wanted to be a young mom, and I’m worried about how this industry puts stigmas on young women who have children and looks at them in a different light. I was worried that, if I don’t work, there is no money and no support for kids I would have.”
Sydney is currently engaged to marry a businessman named Jonathan Davino. He popped the question in 2022 and they’ve been engaged ever since.
She’s been super busy making waves as an actress these days, so it makes sense that wedding plans and pregnancy plans haven’t exactly been set into motion quite yet.
One thing fans know for sure? She will continue to be supported and adored no matter when she chooses to move forward with these familial plans.
