Marvel fans have a lot to look forward to because there’s a fourth live action Spider-Man movie that’s already been announced.

Tom Holland is the talented actor in the titular role and Zendaya is also part of the lineup as MJ!

We know that Tom and Zendaya are head over heels in love with each other in real life, but does Zendaya relate to the character of MJ beyond that?

Zendaya only seems to have uplifting and positive things to say about her time playing MJ, which is super exciting from the perspective of her diehard fans.

According to InStyle, Zendaya said, “It’s been awesome. I did the first movie when I was 19. Now I’m about to turn 25. It’s been really special, you know, we’ve gotten to grow up with this character, we’ve gotten to grow up together and go through so much together. She has a special place in my heart, MJ. I’m grateful to play such an iconic character and grateful to Jon [Watts] for picking me to be this new version of who she is in this Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

The Jon Watts she mentioned is the director of the Spider-Man films. by the way.

Keep in mind that Zendaya offered up that insightful answer a couple of years back because she’s currently 27 years old per the date of this publication.

The fact that she handles such an iconic role while sharing screen time with her longtime boyfriend is beyond electrifying.

The character of MJ is known for being a bit of a social loner who’s also incredibly witty.

In the real world, Zendaya doesn’t seem to be a loner at all since she constantly exudes such high levels of confidence.

Based on her interviews, she certainly comes across as a young woman with wit.
