While Millie Bobby Brown might be more well-known for playing Eleven on Stranger Things, that doesn’t mean Eleven is the only role she’ll ever resonate with or feel connected to.

Sure, Millie‘s career as an actress has been moving in the right direction ever since she snagged the role of Eleven back in 2016.

But times have certainly changed and so have her perspectives when it comes to the roles she feels the closest to on an emotional level.

Here’s what Millie has openly said about her time playing Enola Holmes on Netflix.

According to Digital Spy, Millie has a lot more in common with Enola than anyone might’ve guessed.

She opened up about the character saying, “”[Me and Enola] are both very similar, quite dry and brutally honest, and the fact that I can relate to Enola helps me to constantly add more things to her because as I grow, Enola does. Eleven in Stranger Things is so far beyond who I am, while Enola feels like I’m coming back to a place of normality and consistency. I’m able to really create her character organically.”

The first Enola Holmes movie landed on Netflix in 2020 as an intriguing mystery adventure that ran for just over two hours.

Its sequel was added to the streaming platform in 2022.

Enola Holmes 3 is officially going to happen, but the movie doesn’t have a release date as of this publication.

Production for it hasn’t started yet, either.

Rumor has it, production for the third installment of the franchise will start at the beginning of 2025.

The entire Enola Holmes franchise focuses on Sherlock Holmes’ teenage sister, and her ability to solve mysteries the same way her older brother is capable of doing.

In the first movie, Enola successfully outwits her older brother to figure out the truth behind a haunting conspiracy revolving around her mother’s disappearance.

Although the storylines in this franchise are extremely far-fetched and unlikely to occur in real life, it’s still interesting to learn that Millie feels so connected to the sweetly iconic role.

It’s also great news to uncover that Millie is 100% on board to film the third movie of the franchise.

Since the first two movies have done so well among Netflix viewers and the third is now on its way, is there a chance this franchise will continue on with a fourth or fifth movie?
