The current story going around is that Zendaya and Sam Levinson are no longer on the best of terms.
As a reminder, Sam is the man who created Euphoria, and Zendaya is the leading actress in the show.
Euphoria is a beloved HBO Max series that viewers obsessed over during its first and second seasons.
The third season isn’t set to start production until 2025, which has definitely put a damper on things.
But now, it seems drama between Zendaya and Sam has surfaced, which leaves fans feeling uneasy about the future of Euphoria as a whole.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya was annoyed at Sam for paying attention to The Idol instead of Euphoria.
The Idol is a separate TV show that Sam had high hopes for, but it ended up being an epic failure.
Allegedly, his decision to shift his focus from Euphoria to The Idol soured his professional relationship with Zendaya.

One person wrote, “Sam Levinson’s involvement with The Idol also soured his relationship with anyone who can see and/or hear.”
Another added, “I’ve been waiting for Sam Levinson’s downfall.”
A third fan wrote, “Literally. I think Sam Levinson confuses nudity and sexuality with vulnerability and provocation respectively. I don’t think Shameless US is like god-tier TV or anything, but I genuinely think Euphoria is just a worse Shameless because there are fewer emotional stakes for me.”
Someone else added, “It’s honestly wild that Sam is beefing with the person who gave him legitimacy. Zendaya has a better reputation than he does. Not a smart move.”
A separate fan chimed in with, “Given the racial undertones of the show, I am not surprised Sam Levinson has singled out the successful, single black woman of his cast while the white people get a free hall pass. I fully support Zendaya and wish she would just walk away from Euphoria at this point. F Sam Levinson!”
The singling out they’re referring to comes from the fact that Sam tried to use Zendaya‘s busy movie schedule as an excuse for the delay of Euphoria.
Another fan wrote, “Euphoria was honestly just gross and if I was Zendaya, I would not want to be associated with the likes of Sam Levinson.”
