Are Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo really set to hit the studio to record a collaboration together?

Multiple publications have reported these swirling rumors in the media, but nothing has been officially confirmed quite yet.

Still, fans are in a frenzy over the idea of it all.

Here’s what music lovers are saying online.

One excited fan wrote, “I’d be down for it solely to clear both of their names in the public eye. There are a number of people still holding onto the drama and it would be nice to put that to rest.”

The drama this fan would like to see put to rest, by the way, is the issue Sabrina and Olivia once had after they both dated Joshua Bassett.

Olivia released the song called “Driver’s License“ hinting at the fact that Joshua might have dumped her for Sabrina. The song also hinted that he possibly cheated on her with Sabrina.

Another social media user wrote, “People are now pitting Sabrina against Olivia since she’s blown up, and some are supporting Sabrina to spite Olivia because they hate her for whatever reason. Hopefully, a collab would end that nonsense.”

Someone else jokingly added, “I posted this in another thread but I had a dream they collaborated together on a campaign song for Kamala Harris.”

A separate fan joined the conversation to say, “I would love a collab. It’s crazy how many fans are still holding onto the drama. It would be a banger of a song.”

Someone else wrote, “I’d love it, I love both of them. Let’s put this mess to bed. They’re both mature young women who have clearly moved on with their lives, I think this could encourage some of their fans to do the same.”

Someone who’s totally uninterested in the idea of a collaboration added, “Olivia doesn’t need to collab with anyone. She’s doing just fine without doing one. She had two great albums and will have another great one.”

Another fan who doesn’t care to see Sabrina and Olivia hit the studio together wrote, “I hope Olivia doesn’t. I like Sabrina, but I don’t think this is necessary in any way. Sabrina would benefit from it much more than Olivia and as for Olivia, I don’t think Sabrina musically makes sense with her.”

Although there are definitely a few negative comments in the mix, the majority of people seem beyond excited at the prospect of a song from Olivia and Sabrina landing on the radio.

Can you imagine a pop mix of “Deja Vu” and “Espresso” on blast? Are you here for it if Sabrina and Olivia decide to officially collaborate on a brand new pop song together as a team? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
