Is Kylie Jenner hopping on the trad wife bandwagon? Fans have a lot to say about her in relation to the latest social media trend at the moment.

In case you’re unclear on what a trad wife is, it’s a traditional wife who does housewife-style activities like cooking, cleaning, taking care of her children, and catering to her husband.

Influencers like Nara Smith and Estee Williams have been blowing up in popularity across social media platforms for this stuff.

Is it true that Kylie is starting to showcase trad wife energy as well?

Social media users are having lots of conversations about Kylie in relation to the trad wife trend right now.

One person wrote, “Listen. I know Kylie Jenner is a celebrity, but I’m getting the feeling that she’s starting to transition into this whole trad wife influencer trend. Like, with all the Nara Smith stuff going around, I wouldn’t be surprised that this is yet another trend that Kylie is hopping on to stay relevant.”

Someone responded by saying, “She’s trying to copy the trad wife thing even though she’s not a wife.”

As a reminder, Kylie shares her two young children with her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, but they were never married.

And she’s currently in a serious relationship with Timothee Chalamet, but they aren’t married either.

Someone else joined the conversation to say, “I can easily picture Kylie as a trad wife. It’s a no-brainer when you’re as gorgeous as her.”

Someone who doesn’t believe that Kylie is actually hopping on the trad wife bandwagon commented, “Trad wivess don’t have billion-dollar businesses LOL.”

And that fan isn’t wrong. The true nature of a trad wife is a woman who doesn’t work outside of the home for money because she financially depends on her husband and his income.

A true trad wife wouldn’t be the CEO of multiple companies because she’d be busy doing things like cooking, cleaning, playing with her kids, and doing whatever her husband asks of her.

Ultimately, there’s been a lot of backlash on social media about the trad wife trend as a whole beyond this Kylie conversation since some people find trad wife lifestyles to be super inappropriate, toxic, and unhealthy.

When women are put in positions where they’re financially dependent on their male partners, it can potentially lead to abusive situations.

At the end of the day, we have three reasons proving that it doesn’t make much sense to refer to Kylie as someone tapping into the trad wife trend at this juncture.

First, she doesn’t need to hop onto any social media bandwagons to stay relevant in the first place.

Kylie’s the blueprint for all influencers and anything she tends to post does well in terms of engagement, likes, and comments.

Second, she’s far too business savvy with a highly entrepreneurial spirit for a trad wife type of label to make any sense for her.

And third: She’s unmarried which means she is no one’s wife. Therefore, it’s technically impossible for her to be a trad wife.
