Who can ever forget Nicki Minaj’s infamous speech at the 2015 MTV VMAs awards?
She shouted, “And now back to this b**** who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press – Miley, what’s good?”
Is the feud over?
As she accepted the award for Best Hip Hop Video for her hit song “Anaconda,” the rap star thanked her pastor and others before proceeding to shade Miley Cyrus in one breath.
Apparently, Nicki Minaj felt hurt when the “Wrecking Ball’” singer talked about her in an interview back in 2015 during the rapper’s feud with Taylor Swift.
Her words didn’t go down well with the “Barbie Remix” rapper and she decided to call her out with the whole world watching.
Now, all that happened in 2015 and it’s almost been a decade now. We have been wondering if the two stars are still beefing or have made up.
Well, in 2018 Miley posted a now-deleted video of her dancing to Nicki’s ‘Chun Li’. And Nicki reposted it and captioned it “What’s good 😻” And it looked like they’ve finally resolved their 2015 feud.
But that wasn’t the case as Miley went on to diss Nicki Minaj in her 2019 “Cattitude” referencing Nicki’s beef with Cardi B.
And of course, Nicki responded and slammed Miley saying, “Perdue chicken can never talk sh*t about queens.”
So, if you’re wondering where they stand today, the two haven’t publicly resolved their feud.
In her recent interview with The New York Times Magazine, the “Pink Friday” rapper revealed she’s very much unapologetic about calling Miley out at the 2015 VMAs.
