Legendary music from Lana Del Rey easily connects with the most hilarious characters we know and love from The Office.

Here’s your full breakdown.

Michael Scott: Lust For Life.

Michael was happy to be alive with a constantly high vibration. His positive energy was always endearing to see.

Lana sings, “There’s no more night, blue skies forever. ‘Cause we’re the masters of our own fate. We’re the captains of our own souls. So there’s no need for us to hesitate. We’re all alone, let’s take control. A lust for life keeps us alive.”

Michael’s lust for life was unmatched, especially when it came to things like running the Scranton branch for Dunder Mifflin and marrying Holly Flax.

Jim Halpert: Love Song.

Jim was in love with Pam Beesly for years before he had a real chance to be with her.

Lana sings, “And yes, now I’m here with you and I would like to think that you would stick around. You know that I’d just die to make you proud. The taste, the touch, the way we love
It all comes down to make the sound of our love song.”

These lovey-dovey Lana lyrics are perfectly on brand for Jim and his feelings for Pam.

Pam Beesly: Love.

Pam upgraded from her lackluster relationship with Roy Anderson to a relationship full of pure and special relationship with Jim.

Lana sings, “You get ready, you get all dressed up. To go nowhere in particular. Back to work or the coffee shop. Doesn’t matter ’cause it’s enough to be young and in love.”

Pam got to experience being young and in love with Jim because she took a leap and walked away from the comfort zone she was in with Roy.

Dwight Schrute: Mariners Apartment Complex.

Dwight always showcased his leadership skills. He yearned for a management position at Dunder Mifflin for years.

Lana sings, “You lose your way, just take my hand. You’re lost at sea, then I’ll command your boat to me again. Don’t look too far, right where you are, that’s where I am. I’m your man.”

These lyrics from Lana describe someone who knows exactly how to be a leader.

Andy Bernard: White Dress.

Andy was always reminiscing about the nostalgia of his glory days, the way Lana reflects on her happiest memories from when she was 19 years old in this song.

She sings, “We were talking about life, we were sitting outside ’til dawn. But I would still go back. If I could do it all again, I’d fly. Because it made me feel, made me feel like a god.”

Andy reflected on his days at Cornell University often. Those were his glory days when he felt like a god with the world as his oyster.

Kelly Kapoor: Blue Jeans.

Kelly’s obsessive love for Ryan Howard bordered on pathetic. Actually, let’s be real. It WAS pathetic. She was willing to go above and beyond for him, even though he barely ever showed her any respect.

Lana sings, “I will love you till the end of time. I would wait a million years. Promise you’ll remember that you’re mine. Baby, can you see through the tears?”

Kelly cried over Ryan many times. He saw through her tears enough to keep stringing her along.

Creed Bratton: High By the Beach.

Creed definitely knew his stuff when it came to drugs when he questioned Meredith Palmer about what medication she’d been given.

He also came across as someone who didn’t mind dabbling with mind-altering substances and playing hooky from work.

Lana sings, “All I wanna do is get high by the beach. Get high by the beach, get high.”

As a reminder, Creed was seen smoking from a pipe in Season Five.

Meredith Palmer: Off to the Races.

Meredith was a wild card. She was always doing things that pushed the boundaries of what was appropriate in the workplace.

Lana sings, “I’m off to the races, cases of Bacardi chasers. Chasing me all over town. ‘Cause he knows I’m wasted, facing. Time again at Riker’s Island and I won’t get out. Because I’m crazy, baby. I need you to come here and save me. I’m your little scarlet starlet. Singing in the garden. Kiss me on my open mouth. Ready for you.”

Meredith was big on getting wasted, the same way Lana sings about. She was also pretty sexually active, the way Lana describes in “Off to the Races.”

Oscar Martinez: Music to Watch Boys To.

Oscar was a gay man on The Office who had a partner named Gil for a huge chunk of the show.

Lana sings, “Putting on my music while I’m watching the boys.”

Beyond Gil, Oscar also had a crush on a warehouse worker named Matt who we’re sure he would’ve loved to check out with some good music playing.

Stanley Hudson: The Other Woman.

Stanley’s affair was a hot topic of conversation on The Office when it was exposed that he was cheating on his wife.

Lana sings, “The other woman has time to manicure her nails. The other woman is perfect where her rival fails. And she’s never seen with pin curls in her hair anywhere.”

Eventually, Stanley ended up leaving his wife for his mistress!

Phyllis Lapin: Video Games.

Phyllis spent time focusing on her career as a paper saleswoman until Bob Vance from Vance Refrigeration came along and swept her off her feet.

Lana sings, “It’s you, it’s you, it’s all for you. Everything I do. I tell you all the time. Heaven is a place on earth with you.”

Earth became more heavenly for Phyllis after she started living life with Bob.

Ryan Howard: Shades of Cool.

Ryan was a cold-hearted dude for the way he treated Kelly Kapoor during their off-and-on relationship. Kelly wanted him to love her back, but that was wishful thinking.

Lana sings, “I can’t fix him, can’t make him better. And I can’t do nothing about his strange weather. But you are unfixable. I can’t break through your world. ‘Cause you live in shades of cool. Your heart is unbreakable.”

These lyrics from Lana nearly flawlessly describe Ryan.

Angela Martin: Freak.

Angela was a lady streets and a freak in the sheets! That became abundantly obviously on The Office when viewers saw her secret affair with Dwight Schrute start up.

Lana sings, “Baby if you wanna leave. Come to California, be a freak like me, too. Screw your anonymity. Loving me is all you need to feel like I do.”

Swap out California for Scranton, and this song was made for Angela!

Toby Flenderson: Ride.

Toby struggled with depression, but he kept pushing forward anyway by showing up to work at Dunder Mifflin as an HR rep.

Lana sings, “I’m tired of feeling like I’m F-ing crazy. I’m tired of driving ’til I see stars in my eyes. All I’ve got to keep myself sane, baby. So I just ride, I just ride.”

Toby kept riding, even when he felt like his depression was making him feel crazy.

Kevin Malone: Born to Die.

Kevin wasn’t big on exercise. In fact, he gave up on the CPR practice session because he got too physically exhausted after just a few seconds!

He also sat on the edge of the curb feeling defeated when construction crew members took over the Dunder Mifflin parking lot and forced him and his co-workers to park farther away from the office. Walking those extra steps was misery for him!

Lana sings, “Feet don’t fail me now. Take me to the finish line. Oh, my heart it breaks every step that I take. But I’m hoping that the gates, they’ll tell me that you’re mine. Walking through the city streets. Is it by mistake or design?”

These words might’ve been floating around Kevin’s head when he was struggling to get physical movement in.

Erin Hannon: Say Yes to Heaven.

Erin was always deserving of good and pure love that was reminiscent of a heavenly experience because she was a good and pure human.

Andy treated her poorly, but by the end of The Office, it’s revealed that she ends up with Pete Miller. He was a true gentleman to her.

Lana sings, “I’ve got my mind on you. Say yes to Heaven. Say yes to me. Say yes to Heaven. Say yes to me. If you dance, I’ll dance. I’ll put my red dress on, get it on.”

Erin and Pete shared a dance with each other in the finale episode of The Office at Dwight and Angela’s wedding, which matches up to these Lana lyrics.
