Why did Travis Kelce‘s dad get banned on X, formally known as Twitter, for life?
Travis‘s dad, Ed Kelce, has been widely recognized for his active behavior on social media over the years.
As of now, though, he is completely locked out of his Twitter account after posting a questionable article onto his feed.
According to Ed, he’s totally confused about why this is all happening in the first place.
The real reason Travis Kelce‘s dad is banned from Twitter.
Ed’s Twitter ban happened right after he shared an article about international arms dealers conducting business with the help of Twitter as their sales platform.
Since Ed no longer has access to his Twitter account, he open up with People Magazine about the drama.
He said, “Let me try and clear something up here. I’m rarely on Facebook or Instagram. I get Google alerts in my email about articles mentioning the boys and remotely post them to Facebook for friends and family to see… I rarely wrote anything on X; I just followed sports reporters.”
He went onto note that he only used Twitter from September to February and that he was likely hacked because he doesn’t believe Twitter is too secure of his social media platform.
Travis Kelce‘s dad getting banned from Twitter hasn’t impacted Travis
If you’re curious to know whether or not Travis is being directly impacted by what’s going on with Ed, the answer is… Not really.
Travis is still active on Twitter with 1.4 million followers keeping up with him today. He also has a blue checkmark on his account proving that he is indeed who he is.
It’s true that Travis is more active on Instagram, that doesn’t mean he is opposed to an occasional tweet or retweet every once in a while.
As of now, there’s been no word from Elon Musk about reinstating Ed on Twitter.
