These two clues that Selena Gomez is engaged to marry Benny Blanco are undeniable.
Ever since Selena and Benny started dating, people have been eagerly anticipating upcoming wedding plans.
After all, this is the first relationship where it seems Selena is genuinely and wholeheartedly happy.
She’s been super vocal about how good Benny treats her, and it appears to be a stark contrast compared to past relationships she’s had with people like Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.
Clues fans have noticed
The first clue is that Selena was spotted wearing a gold engagement ring on her ring finger.
Photos shared by TMZ showcased the “Love On” singer wearing a gold band on that special finger while running errands.
Many fans might assume that Selena would be the type of starlet to rock an engagement ring with a massive diamond, but this particular ring doesn’t appear to have a big sparkling diamond at all.
It looks like a simple gold band that isn’t very flashy.
The second clue is that Selena recently followed a wedding planning company called CMG Events on TikTok.
It’s quite typical for a newly engaged woman to start following wedding-themed social media pages to come up with ideas for their own upcoming nuptials.
Before these two most recent clues became the talk of the town regarding Selena possibly being engaged to Benny, she also shared a third clue that had people scratching their heads with confusion and excitement.
She posted a selfie with Benny in the background that included a pink heart emoji to hide her ring finger.
Many people assumed the only reason she would have placed the emoji there would have been to hide a possible engagement ring!
At this point, the truth of the matter is that Selena and Benny haven’t made any announcements about getting engaged.
Based on some of the things Selena and Benny have publicly said about each other, it’s abundantly obvious that they are marriage-minded when it comes to their romantic connection.
When speaking with Time, Selena opened up saying, “I was alone for five years. A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it. Then I came up with my plan, which was I was going to adopt at 35 if I had not met anyone.”
As a reminder, Selena is currently 32 years old.
She went on to speak highly of Benny saying, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that he’s not going anywhere any time soon.”
