Is Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet still in love with Jason Oppenheim? They definitely dated back in the day, but Mary has since moved on and gotten married to Romaine Bonnet.
Jason has dated a few other girls since his split with Mary including Chrishell Stause and Mary Lou Nurk.
So, why are so many fans convinced that Mary might still have serious feelings for Jason?
It might have something to do with how deeply emotionally connected they were while discussing the loss of their shared dog, Niko.

She is blindly loyal to him, she centers her friendships and decisions around him, she calls him ‘babe,’ she’s willing to take on that extra work without a pay raise, and she got to become the manager with no skills managing people.”
Not everyone can agree with that sentiment though, because a lot of people just don’t think Mary and Jason still have any feelings for each other at all.
One person wrote, “I think she just relies on Jason for a good chunk of her income so she’s tied to him. He also employed Romain and gave him a huge multi-year project. It’s in her best interest to stay on good terms with Jason and to stay on his good side since he employs both her and her husband.”
Someone else added, “I don’t think she’s in love with him, but I do think they’ve developed a borderline unhealthy co-dependent relationship that she’s so deeply invested in that she ties her self-worth to her job performance and worth to the brokerage.”
Another person said, “Nope, Mary and Jason are not in love anymore. I think Mary and Romain perhaps have shown the most growth relationship wise on the show. They consistently show each other respect and seem to genuinely enjoy being together. That being said, the previous comment about her being co-dependent with Jason is spot on.”
Another fan wrote, “I don’t see it. I think they both care about each other and maybe they do love each other, but they’re not in love.”
Someone else with some insight added, “I don’t think they are in love. But there is something. Both have poor boundaries and Jason is a charming user whereas Mary is a people pleaser. Mary and her husband depend financially on having a good relationship with Jason and Jason benefits from having their loyalty.”

They are fully platonic, even though they’re super emotionally supportive of each other.
