Once again, Nicole Young has found herself in hot water on Selling Sunset. She constantly seems to be at the base of many rumor mills, and this time, she’s the one spreading a story about Emma Hernan being a mistress.
Emma‘s best friends on the show, Chrishelle Stause and Chelsea Lazkani have absolutely no patience for Nicole.
They’re extremely annoyed that Nicole is spinning a narrative about Emma that’s so damaging.
Details about the drama
Chrishell posted an Instagram story saying, “I will never work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued. Disclaimer when you watch: Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically false and super damaging. It is not true.”
Chrishell went on to call out the production company for allowing Nicole to spread such a harsh rumor about Emma on camera.
As of now, most fans of the show are on Emma’s side since there was never any hard proof or evidence that Emma was a mistress.
Every time Nicole tried to bring the rumor up, she never had any receipts to back up her claims.
This has gotten so bad that it’s extremely unlikely Chrishell will agree to film another season if Nicole is invited to be part of the cast.
One social media user posted “Nicole has just brought it up. Amanza and Mary shut it down in Joshua Tree, then Nicole said it again to Bre. I’m just surprised Emma hasn’t said anything to deny it.”
Someone responded by saying, “Emma doesn’t have to deny this rumor. Nicole clearly is trying to attack her character for clout. It’s not worth Emma’s time to bring more attention to this.”
A third fan chimed in with, “I cannot believe that there are people like Nicole out there. Sometimes you think they just amp up the drama for the show, but I guess some people are so narcissistic and sociopathic, that it is truly chilling. I have no idea how she has friends or how any other cast member or HER HUSBAND can even look her in the eye.”
Another person wrote, “Nicole brings toxic energy to the show. She’s a villain who is very easy to hate.“
Probably the most shocking detail in all of this is that Nicole decided to wage war against Emma right after reconciling her friendship with Chrishell.
Nicole and Chrishell were beefing for so long and they finally had a chance to turn over a new leaf at the beginning of Season Eight.
But all of that went out the window when everyone found out about the rumor Nicole was spreading among her Selling Sunset cast mates.
One fan who noticed exactly that wrote, “Nicole just can’t shut it up. She literally apologized to Chrishell five seconds ago, and then already started stirring up drama right after. She needs to just shut it for once.”
Another person added, “Nicole is bringing the drama so she can snag more airtime.”
It’s unclear why exactly Nicole decided to drag Emma through the mud with this rumor, but if she really was just craving more airtime, she would have been totally fine without doing this.
Nicole would have gained more airtime without a negative connotation attached. Now, it’s messy!
