Amanda Lynn is the newest face on Selling Sunset, and she’s stirring up drama in Season Eight. She came onto the show as Bre Tiesi’s friend.
Amanda brought piping hot tea that was completely unexpected into the mix. She’s the one who revealed that Chelsea Lazkani‘s husband, Jeff, was a cheater.
But why did that particular conversation have to go down on camera? And we’ve also got details about all the old racist tweets from Amanda‘s past that are starting to resurface.

Amanda and Bre met up for an on-camera chitchat about Jeff cheating on Chelsea after Jeff was allegedly spotted kissing a young woman in a hotel lobby.
At first, it seemed Chelsea was grateful to Bre for bringing the information to her, but then Chelsea started questioning why the conversation had to go down on camera in the first place when it could’ve happened in a more private setting.
Chelsea‘s valid concerns have caused Selling Sunset fans to wonder about Amanda and Bre‘s motives.
Many people have sided with Chelsea because they don’t feel like Amanda and Bre had the right to publicize the drama happening within Chelsea‘s marriage.
Chelsea took to Twitter to write, “Bre brought her racist friend on the show to try to ruin me. Never met the Amanda girl a day in my life but her and Bre in her words wanted to ‘take me down’. I took the scene because it was already a storyline. It was all premeditated, I just handled it the best way I could.”
Chelsea‘s claim that Amanda is racist isn’t coming out of nowhere, by the way. Amanda certainly has a racist past that has officially been exposed.
Fans dug up a handful of tweet from her where she used the N-word with a hard R.
Amanda also works in real estate, so there’s a chance she was hopeful of getting hired as an agent in the Oppenheim Group office.
After inciting a literal war with Chelsea, and after her disgustingly racist tweets have come to the surface, it’s unlikely Jason and Brett will hire her to be part of their company.
Jason and Brett don’t go out of their way to stand up for anything they believe in with any sort of true conviction, but they’re not dumb.
It’s extremely unlikely they’d invite someone like Amanda on the show knowing everything they know about her at this juncture.
Social media users aren’t happy with Amanda at all, and fans haven’t been holding back with their fiery opinions.
One person wrote, “I thought it was so weird she decide to take Bre out to lunch in front of the cameras and air out Chelsea’s laundry! And on top of that to be laughing and giggling about the situation? She gives mean girl in the worst way, I hate that they’ve brought her on at all.”
Someone else wrote, “She also has a bunch of old racist tweets. She was a no from me. Not likable in any way and a Temu villain at best. When she sat at Chelsea’s desk in the finale I cringed so hard knowing her racist history. If they bring her back I’m done. I will not watch another season if they monetize that bigot.”
A third fan added, “She’s trash. Her eyes literally lit up when she was telling Bre about Chelsea’s cheating husband. Just seems like a very toxic person I would avoid at all costs.”
Someone else chimed in with, “I find it appalling that a grown woman has the drive to be on a TV show acting like that. What did she expect out of it?”
