This young couple has been in each other’s lives since 2016, which means they have almost a decade under their belt so far.

So, when exactly will wedding bells be ringing?

Here’s your latest 2024 update about Tom and Zendaya regarding their wedding plans or engagement timeline.

The reason so many people are convinced Tom and Zendaya are engaged in 2024 is due to an AI-generated photo that went viral at the end of July.

In the AI-generated photo, Tom is seen down on one knee proposing to Zendaya with a huge smile on his face.

Zendaya is seen hiding her face with her hands as she shed tears.

The fake picture depicts their proposal going down in front of a large crowd at some sort of theater with a massive chandelier on the ceiling.

In all seriousness, anyone who knows a thing or two about AI-generated images can easily tell that the photo is fake.

But somehow someway, the photo successfully tricked a handful of people into believing a proposal actually happened.

This AI-generated picture was absolutely terrible, but with the way AI is rapidly improving, who’s to say photos like this won’t become more believable and realistic in the future.

It’s actually a bit alarming to think about since so many fans were totally fooled into thinking Tom and Zendaya actually got engaged.

In reality, Tom still hasn’t popped the question to Zendaya. Between 2016 and 2024, nine years of Zendaya and Tom knowing each other have passed.

Even though they met on set in 2016 when rumors first started swirling about their relationship, they both dated other people before fully settling down with each other.

She was rumored to be dating her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi, and Tom dated a couple other young women as well.

But once they officially locked in on each other, they’ve been completely locked in for real.

The idea of Zendaya and Tom getting engaged and eventually married is something a lot of their fans are looking forward to.

But this dynamic power couple isn’t the type to make too many public announcements, nor do they care to draw an abundance of attention to themselves.

If they choose to get engaged or married, there’s a chance they’ll keep it super low-key. But again, no one knows for sure.

As of this publication, Tom and Zendaya haven’t made any announcements about being engaged.
