Was Georgina Sparks destined to be the true main character of Gossip Girl all along?
Some fans of the show believe that Georgina should have been the main character in place of Serena, Blair, Vanessa, Jenny, and all the guys.

Georgina was living a crazy and intense life, even though she wasn’t always getting screen time on Gossip Girl.
Every time she would resurface, she had insane stories to tell that were absolutely jaw-dropping.
Some fans on social media have been calling for a Gossip Girl spinoff starring then other than Georgina as the lead.
The hype over Georgina continued on social media with another fan writing, “She was a brilliant character. I just wish she was in Gossip Girl more.“
Another fan added, “Georgina Sparks always gives main character vibes.”
Ultimately, we know that the main female characters on Gossip Girl were Serena, Blair, Jenny, and Vanessa.
Other female side characters who also got a lot of attention on the show included Ivy Dickens, Juliet Sharp, and Poppy Lifton.
According to a lot of social media users who love Gossip Girl, none of these characters truly held a candle to Georgina Sparks.
As a reminder, Georgina was played by an actress named Michelle Trachtenberg.
Michelle has an awesome Actress résumé under her belt beyond Gossip Girl. She also starred in Eurotrip, Ice Princess, 17 Again, Harriet the Spy, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
It’s easy to have respect for an actress like Michelle who knows how to bring the heat in every single role she snags.
