Almost 400 million people are following Kylie Jenner on Instagram at the moment. Are you one of them?
Some people who don’t follow her don’t quite understand what the hype is all about.
Social media users who refuse to follow Kylie are questioning what’s so exciting, interesting, and enticing about following the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister on IG.
Here is what her followers are saying as their own personal explanations.
One social media user outright asked, “Dear people who follow Kylie Jenner on Instagram: WHY do you follow her?”
One person quickly responded, “Because she’s hot. She has nice legs.”
“It doesn’t cost me anything to follow her, so why not?” someone else added.
Someone else chimed in to say, “I love seeing her cute kids.“
Another fan added, “I’m curious, so I follow her to stay up to date about things.”
Generally speaking, different people obviously have various different reasons for why they’d want to follow her on Instagram.
One reason that definitely exists is that some of Kylie‘s diehard fans miss her King Kylie era, which was the time when she was regularly posting content on Snapchat.
The height of the King Kylie era was around 2015 and 2016, and it was definitely the most intriguing time to keep up with her.
Of course, things slowed down and changed when she got pregnant for the first time with Travis Scott’s child.
Her daughter, Stormi, was born in February 2018, and Kylie totally went off the grid to hide her pregnancy leading up to that big reveal.
She stopped posting and she stopped going out in public.
Some fans who still keep up with Kylie on Instagram have hopes that she might return to her King Kylie energy at some point in the future.
A few scrolls through her current Instagram reveals that her King Kylie days are long over, though.
Instead, you’ll find a lot of ads promoting her brands and businesses. The promotional content from Kylie is cut and dry compared to the silly and fun-filled content she used to post during her King Kylie era.
She opened up about her different approach to social media these days on a YouTube video with Hailey Bieber saying, “I think my priorities are just in a different place. I have real life shiz to do now.”
In other words, posting on social media all day is no longer a good use of her time.
Building her businesses, sticking to her fitness routine, and focusing on motherhood are a few things she seems to be prioritizing more than anything else at this juncture. What do you think of Kylie’s new vibe on social media? If you currently follow her on IG, why do you do that? Let us know in the comments.
