Was Amanza Smith REALLY about to lose out on her friendship with Chrishell Stause to maintain free services from an incredibly rude stylist?

That’s exactly almost what happened on Selling Sunset!

Fortunately, Amanza figured out that she was in the wrong before her birthday celebration and it looks like her friendship with Chrishell has been salvaged.

These are the details.

It was revealed in Season Eight of Selling Sunset that Amanza was receiving free styling services from a gay man named Sammie Moussalem.

He made inappropriate comments about Chrishell that should have never come out of his mouth.

He called her “fake lesbian“ and said she was “nothing but a green card to G“ referring to Chrishell’s partner, G Flip.

The fact that he called her a “fake lesbian” was out of line. It was a full-on attack against Chrishell’s sexuality.

For a moment there, it seemed that Amanza was going to allow her friendship with Chrishell to blow up because she wanted to stay on good terms with Sammie as her stylist instead of cutting him off.

Chrishell told Amanza she wouldn’t go to Amanza’s birthday party if Sammie was going to be there.

Ultimately, Amanza did the right thing by disinviting Sammie to make sure Chrishell felt safe and comfortable in attendance.

Since then, Sammie has apologized for his comments.

He told People Magazine, “I apologize for it. Six months ago, me being a professional, I tried to contact her many times, whether through my publicist or through my manager who represents me to contact her to have a conversation with her and she hasn’t responded. I said it at a spite and what I said before, I didn’t really mean. I overreacted. I should’ve never said what I said on social media. We’re adults. And it’s affected my business, me being silent to the situation that happened prior as well too, and my livelihood and everything like that. I would like to move on from this and be adults. We’re both members of the LGBTQ community. I’m a member, and she’s a member.”

It’s unclear if Chrishell will ever be interested in accepting the apology from Sammie. Social media users have had a lot to say about this entire debacle as well.

One person wrote, “Amanza excusing her stylist’s behavior and trying to justify it because he’s helping her for free is DISGUSTING. I’m sorry, but if this was anyone else’s stylist saying gross things, she’d be the first one to call them out.”

Someone else, “Amanza’s behavior was atrocious! She is part Black. Her kids have a Black father. How would she feel if Chrishell hired a racist stylist who went around saying the N-word? Would she like it if Chrishell justified maintaining a relationship with the racist stylist because he works for free? Newsflash: There are stylists who will work for free who are not homophobic A-holes. Amanza is not a friend. She is pathetic.”

A third fan chimed in with, “I don’t understand how she at her big age isn’t aware that gay men can be misogynistic and transphobic. I also don’t understand why Amanza is shocked that Chrishell is standing 10 toes down behind her partner! Chrishell doesn’t play that and has been that way literally since they started dating.”

Someone else added, “Maybe Amanza just keeps him around because he works with her for free but he is doing a HORRIBLE JOB anyway. Most of the time she looks like a pop singer from the early 00s or a rapper. The accessories, the bags, the hairstyles, the makeup? There is too much going on at the same time.”
