It’s not a secret that Kylie Jenner has become more reclusive than ever before this year.
She used to post a lot of content about her daily life on social media, but that has totally gone away.
Now, she mostly just posts to promote her brands and businesses.
Fans of Kylie are sharing their theories as to why this drastic change is happening in the first place.
Here’s what people are saying.
One social media user posted, “Any theories as to what is going on with Kylie? She just seems so broken to me. There was a point in time when she was the carefree, funny outgoing one now she is just a shell. It’s almost as though she and Kendall’s personalities have reversed. Kendall appears to be the more carefree and outgoing one while Kylie has transformed into the anxious and apprehensive one.”
Someone responded by saying, “She had two kids very young, had several surgeries, and was pushed into several businesses before her pre frontal cortex had fully developed. I’m sure she’s trying to find out who she really is, but Kris Jenner is suppressing it.”
Someone else added, “Probably at the age that she can finally process her life. The media attention she was subjected to is a lot for anyone at any age but must be especially difficult for a child.”
Another fan chimed in with, “Honestly, I feel like all the negativity is catching up to her. Whatever you generally think about Kylie, she has been bullied online since a young girl and it would be tough for anyone.”
Someone else who isn’t too happy with the parenting Kylie has received wrote, “There was an episode of Keeping Up where Kris even said she didn’t believe in therapy. It’s wild to me that a woman with six kids who is so image-obsessed would say that on TV. I think that’s where they get the idea that it’s not okay to have mental health struggles.”
Another fan added their two cents saying, “Kylie has always said she wasn’t meant to be famous. I think she probably feels a deep disconnect with how famous she is and who she feels she truly is internally. She is the most mysterious of the family. Her desire for privacy is clear. Has to be psychologically fucked up for a person to be lunged into fame and then grow up to realize it all happened without you having any real adult-level control over it.”
So, maybe her intention was always to live a life that came across as a bit more reclusive.
Since the rest of her family, especially her older sister Kim Kardashian, were so on board to pursue fame, it was sort of forced upon her.
