Sydney Sweeney is just as ready for Season Three of Euphoriaeuphoria as the rest of us are, and we have proof.

She recently opened up about how stoked she is to get Season Three in motion while speaking with People Magazine.

Here’s what she said.

Sydney opened up saying, “I’m very excited to jump back into Cassie. She is definitely one of the most special characters for me and I love my Euphoria family, so I look forward to it. I love crazy Cassie, so the crazier, the better for me.”

When the outlet asked Sydney if she knew of any teasers for Euphoria Season Three, Sydney responded, “Honestly, I don’t know anything about it.”

Unfortunately, it seems she’s just as in the dark about what’s to come for the future of the show as the rest of us are.

Where did things end off for Cassie Howard anyway? Season Two of Euphoria ended with Cassie‘s dirty little secret getting revealed to her best friend, Maddy Perez.

Maddy found out that Cassie was secretly hooking up with Nate Jacobs for a while, and it led to a physical brawl.

Season Two of the show proved that Cassie was the type of girl who was willing to prioritize attention from a boy over love and loyalty with her own best friend.

The character of Cassie is complex and challenging, to say the least.

This isn’t the first time Sydney has spoken highly about playing Cassie in the media. She told The Hollywood Reporter, “Cassie truly is a dream to play and as an actor, I’m so fortunate that I’ve had a character like her at such a young age. And, of course, I wanna keep living her crazy. I love it.”

She also told Grazia, “I love [Cassie] because I feel her pain, I feel her loss, and I feel for her growth. But I’m scared of the choices she makes because sometimes she doesn’t think everything through. She has always wanted to be loved, whether it’s from her mom, her sister, her dad, boys, herself, and the part that complicates it is she doesn’t have that love for herself, and she doesn’t know how to achieve it.”

Additionally, Sydney told Variety, “Cassie challenges me in so many different ways because she is such a character. As an actor, that’s so much fun to play because you go to these places you may never have gone before.”

It’s obvious that Sydney feels undeniably attached to this character. All that’s left is for Euphoria producers to make production happen so viewers can finally see what will happen next for Cassie and the rest of the characters.
