Marvel fans widely believe that the “Spider-Man curse” is a good thing!
It’s something that seems to be set into motion whenever two actors star in Spider-Man movies together.
As a reminder, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone filmed Spider-Man movies together and then started dating in real life for four years.
Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst also filmed Spider-Man movies together and went on to date for more than a year in the early 2000s.
Here’s what fans are saying on social media.
Someone shared a video of Tom and Zendaya flirting with each other in various interviews with a caption that said, “Zendaya and Tom Holland are so in sync with each other. They are soulmates who are locked in for real.”
Another fan quickly responded by saying, “I’m sure it’s the ‘Spider-Man curse.’ Andrew Garfield had this with Emma Stone too. Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst as well.”
Someone else added, “I adore seeing couples who clearly enjoy being around each other, it’s very cute to witness! My cold heart loves this love.”

Other diehard in the comment section took time out to label them as “relationship goals” and to make comments about how genuinely happy they seem to make each other.
Others have jokingly made statements about how they’ll never believe in love again if Tom and Zendaya don’t make it for the long haul.
There’s a lot to love about Tom and Zendaya as a Hollywood couple.
One thing their fans are looking forward to is a possible engagement announcement sometime in the future.
