The friendship connection between Ariana and Billie dates back to 2014 when Billie made mention of her love for Ariana in an interview, according to Ariana’s official fandom page.

A few years later in 2020, Billie stated that she believed Ariana deserved to win the award for her Thank U Next albums as she was giving her acceptance speech for winning Album of the Year.

In 2021, Billie sang a verse from Ariana’s song “Break Free“ on her podcast.

Fast-forward to 2024, and Billie stated how excited she was to listen to Ariana‘s album, Eternal Sunshine before it premiered. Billie said, “Let Ariana put her shiz out, enjoy that, that’s all I’m waiting for,” while speaking with CBS Mornings on the Grammys red carpet.

So, to answer the question of if Billie and Ariana are friends with each other, it’s safe to say that they are most definitely on friendly terms.

So, what about a collaboration? Rumors about a possible collaboration between the talented artists were circulating at the beginning of 2024 after Billie and Ariana were photographed together backstage at the Oscars.

It got everyone excited about the prospect of hearing both of their angelic. Voices together on one track.

As of right now, though, Ariana and Billie haven’t made any announcements about a collaboration. Ariana and Billie both recently released new music with Ariana‘s album, eternal sunshine doing well and Billie‘s album Hit Me Hard and Soft also killing the game.

One thing we can also guess is that Billie would 100% be on board with the idea of a collaboration after some of the positive things she’s said about Ariana in public. In 2019, she told Billboard, “Ariana Grande’s voice is f—ing crazy. Can you imagine opening your mouth and that comes out? Holy f—!”

The high praises are beyond sweet to hear!

When it comes to social media following, that usually says a lot about how close to celebrities are. On Instagram, Ariana is following Bille. Billie isn’t following anyone at all, though, but if she were to follow some of her good friends, there’s a high probability Ariana would be on that list.
